What's been shipped

A running record of every feature, improvement, and fix we ship to production — updated as we go.

April 2026

New PMO Field Apr 12, 2026

Company-level weather activity exclusions

Companies can now opt out of specific weather activity types that don't apply to their operations. A contractor in an arid region can disable precipitation rules for outdoor work without affecting other alert categories. Exclusions are scoped per company and never bleed into other tenants' configurations.

Weather alerts now surface critical path exposure

Weather alerts are now enriched with critical path context. When a weather-sensitive task sits on the critical path, its alert is automatically elevated in severity. The critical path impact summary shows estimated delay days and the count of tasks at risk — giving PMO teams actionable data before a weather event hits.

Logistics subscription tiers

The Logistics module now enforces usage limits per billing period across four tiers: Starter, Growth, Operations Pro, and Enterprise. Request usage is tracked per company and resets each period. Current usage and remaining quota are visible in the dashboard — there are no automated notifications; admins are expected to monitor usage there.

Material catalog scoped per company

The material catalog is now fully isolated per company. Each organization manages its own material list with independent codes, units, and descriptions. No material from one tenant is ever visible to another — consistent with the platform-wide data isolation model.

Sequential request IDs scoped per company

Material requests now carry a company-scoped sequential number (e.g. MRQ-001, MRQ-002) in addition to their internal UUID. Makes requests easy to reference in site conversations and email without exposing platform-level identifiers.

Logistics request statuses expanded

Material requests now flow through five named statuses: Pending, Scheduled, In Progress, Completed, and Cancelled. Each transition is timestamped. The full lifecycle history is visible to the requesting engineer, the warehouse team, and the PMO.

Logistics module launched

The Logistics & Materials module is now available. Field engineers submit structured material requests linked to a usage date and time. Requests flow through a configurable approval and separation workflow with a company-level cutoff time. Unplanned requests require written justification and are flagged as urgent. The warehouse sees a demand calendar. The PMO sees SLA compliance metrics.

Multi-factor authentication

MFA is now enforced across all user accounts using TOTP-based authenticator apps. Each login requires an independent verification step.

Critical path flag on schedule tasks

Tasks imported from MS Project now carry their critical path flag into Construway. When a task is marked critical in the source file, the flag is preserved on import. Available in schedule views for filtering. Only applies to schedules imported via MS Project XML — tasks created manually in the task tree do not carry this flag.

WBS import improvements for MS Project

Schedule import handling was improved for WBS structures exported from MS Project. Parent-child relationships, outline codes, and percent-planned overrides now import correctly from external baseline files.

September 2025

New PMO Admin Sep 14, 2025

Submittals module launched

Submittals are now managed within Construway. Documents are grouped into packages and reviewed through a structured approval workflow. Every review cycle is recorded with reviewer identity and timestamp. Each submittal carries its full revision history.

Schedule: external baseline import via status dates

Status dates can now be flagged as imported, allowing percent-planned values to be sourced from an external baseline (e.g. MS Project export) rather than recalculated internally. Teams that manage baselines externally can still generate SPI and S-curves inside Construway without re-entering their plan.
